Happy Weekend!

This weekend is packed! I'm hitting the flea market, going to a birthday party of a 2-year old, Paul and I are going on our first date in Paris, and on Sunday we are renting a car and taking a roadtrip to visit my friend in Germany for a few days. It is just a five hour drive from here. What are you doing this weekend? (ps: Babble links below.)

These photos of these vintage party supplies are from the this awesome Etsy shop and was found via Joy and Abby's pins. (I love vintage party supplies.)

I write for Babble.com's Family Style. Here are my posts this week.

These are awesome! Etsy strikes again!
When Paul saw this book he was sad that he didn't write it.
JCrew goes Hollywood?
Designer fabric for cheap!
These make the best presents (I gave one to Paul when we were dating.)
My parenting mistake I made the first day I brought Moses home. Consider yourself warned.

  2. Hi Jordan! I love your photos! Paris looks amazing! Just curious - what are you doing for babysitting while in France? Have you called a service or have you made trading friends already?

  5. my husband and i use to live in germany just over the border from france. we went to france all the time for the weekend or for a dinner date or see a movie...we can't wait to get back!

but just wanted to make sure you knew there is a speed train from paris to strasburg for not as much money as you may think (most probably cheaper than renting a car and certainly at least half the time) and you can easily get a train from there over the border and germany has excellent public transportation. of course you may be looking forward to driving through the countryside or have other plans for the car when you get there. just so you know! have a great time!

  10. Hi, I wonder if you switched links on accident. clicking on the 'parenting mistake' leads to a recommendation for a pacifier.

  13. Vintage party supplies are so amazing that is why I have decided to use that kind of party theme for the coming birthday of my kids. I want to show them how party is celebrated in my early age. I am sure they will enjoy everything.
