Very Wayne Thiebaud influenced...I love them...Might just have to get 3 or more ;)
ReplyDeleteI love Wayne Thiebaud! But I actually chose cakes as subjects because I already had a lot of cake photos to reference from my wedding and other articles I had styled for Project Wedding. It wasn't until we started the promoting the show that people mentioned Wayne Thiebaud and I even noticed a comparison.
ReplyDeleteOh these are so pretty. You must have had so much fun! I love his style. My faves are the Coming up Roses and Whipped Chocolate. Perfect for a kitchen but also for a baker or even planner's home-office.
ReplyDeleteI have the original "Orangesicle" painting and I LOVE it!! so darling and beautiful and the technique is fantastic :) great idea to offer them up as prints too!
ReplyDeleteI can't pick a favorite. Love these.
ReplyDeleteI would love a book of all these paintings and the little sayings that went with them...you should think about doing that!
ReplyDeleteYay! I told Gabby she needed to ask you when you were going to make these available to buy online. I'm buying some right now.
ReplyDeleteyikes! These are pricey.
ReplyDeleteOoh! I'm in 100% agreement about the book idea!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. I love all of them. I can't decide which one I want! Would you mind if I posted about it on my blog? And ditto on the book idea. I love reading all the sayings. They each create a story in my head.
ReplyDeletei wished and wished for a painting. i am so happy to see these in print. thank you. brilliant.
ReplyDeleteAn additional vote for the book idea! (Of course, I might have to buy a few prints in the interim!)
ReplyDeleteJordan,
ReplyDeleteI tried to buy five prints and four of them won't ship to Canada... is it possible to fix or are Canucks just out of luck?
Thanks!
Kaili
