Secret Restaurants

My brother sent me a link to this article in the Washington Post about off-the radar illegal restaurants, he knows I love surprises and secret dinner parties. I would love to go to one of these.

  1. I heard about these - people smuggle illegal ingredients back to the US and set-up shop. Sounds like you need to be a brave eater to enjoy!

  2. This looks so very cool. I'd love to attend as well. Since there isn't anything I don't like, I'm totally game. You should check out the one in Oakland and give us a report :)

  9. Have you heard about Canvas Underground? http://canvasunderground.wordpress.com/

It's not exactly an illegal restaurant, but it's a "guerrilla dining network." Mostly East Bay I think.
