WRAPPING GUIDE PART 1: PREPPY

I love wrapping presents almost more than the actual presents. I've put together a series of wrapping guides where I share my favorite sources. For the most part I try to use cheap wrapping paper and ribbon and then fill it in with the occasional special materials. (I wish I could wrap every box in $5/yard ribbon but it gets cost prohibitive.) This is all stuff I have in my wrapping supplies I've linked to it where available. The Paper Mart Ribbon is my favorite just because it is really affordable.

A. PAPER: Ikea Red Stripe Wrapping Paper $2/roll

  3. Okay,so I've been reading your blog for 3ish years now, and I know you've posted about the cheap ribbon before, but for some reason it didn't sink in HOW INCREDIBLY CHEAP it really is! I'm crazy. I just spent $35 on 20 yards of ribbon.

I really hate myself right now.

  10. This is my first visit to your blog, and the first post I see is this wrapping guide. What a fun post! I actually DREAD wrapping gifts--I'm terrible at it and the paper always gets wrinkly, etc. But these ideas are so pretty, maybe if I try them no one will notice the clumsy wrap job. :)

I used only real ribbon on all my Christmas presents this year. I was channeling my inner Happy Day!
