Tanabata Festival

Chelsea tweeted a link to this post on hello sandwich of a Tanabata Festival. Well that gorgeous post led me on some quick google searches until I found the Flickr stream of my wildest dreams. These pictures are so inspiring to me. Hoping I get some time over the break to make some pretty things out of paper.

    Awww, I love tanabata! I am Japanese and I got married on 7/7/07 (Tanabata). In lieu of a guestbook, we had guests write little messages on paper which they then tied to a display of branches. We still have those branches in our entryway.
