This wedding is perfect. I'm not just being biased because it takes place in my lovely city. Also, for the record, vintage dresses always win. Every time. More photos right here from the new issue of Weddings. (via Snippet & Ink)
(Little known fact: When I was 20 I was an intern at SF City Hall with the events department there. I think it is the most beautiful building in San Francisco and totally worth a visit if you are in town.)
I've never been one for the big, pouffy wedding gown. I always wondering where I fit in in the wedding dress maze. Now I know. That dress is complete perfection.
ReplyDeleteLove the dress, the colours, the decoration. Just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThe shoes!!! Love the yellow!
ReplyDeleteWeddings have gotten so big, overdone and expensive. I think it's so refreshing to see people choose something small and simple, like a city hall type wedding. My wedding was low-key but if I could do it over, I would totally elope and use the money I saved on everything else to hire a good photographer and take a really nice honeymoon. This one looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable wedding. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThat dress with those shoes? So adorable!

Oh her dress, if only this existed 10 years ago. Like Audrey Hepburn's dress in Funny Face, except not as poofy... I just love it. I can't believe she found it at a vintage shop. What a score.
ReplyDeletep.s. love City Hall too. I always want to whisper when I'm inside because it feels so special.
Love that banner!

ReplyDeleteI got married here too in September of 2009. It was the City Hall wedding I always dreamed of-- simple, architecturally stunning and the perfect venue to wear vintage in! After all, Frida did it here as did Marilyn.
ReplyDeleteI pretty much did backflips when I opened the MS Weddings this month and saw this. It's so sweet and perfect and unique.
