My latest article for Project Wedding just went up. It shows how to make a birdcage veil. I love birdcage veils, they are so sweet and are pretty easy to make. (Isn't the model pretty? IT is my upstairs neighbor. Very Audrey Hepburnish.)
Photos and concept by Jordan Ferney for Project Wedding. Special Thanks to Alexis Birkmeyer for assisting, Adele White for modeling, and Bille Gniewosz for the dress.
Beautiful - the veil and your neighbor.
ReplyDeletei like that veil. i bought that same bird and cage for a friend for her birthday Ari cried for an hour because it wasnt for him.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous - makes me want to get married all over again (to the same man, of course).

ReplyDeleteuh lovely!
ReplyDeleteI am not getting married anytime soon though - DAMN:)
But who says one cannot wear it for another occasion?!
Wow, this would have been really helpful 3 years ago when I got married and wanted a veil like this. The supposed "veil lady" couldn't figure out how to make this. I ended up pinning the netting in my hair and was happy with the way it turned out, so all was not lost.
ReplyDeleteStill, if only I would have known how to make it, I'd done it myself!!
Great birdcage veil tutorial! I love the pictures of your neighbor as well, she looks like a model :)
