Watercolor Business Cards

I've been printing a lot lately, here are some cards I made for my friend Aubrey. Letterpress paper takes watercolor really nicely (100% cotton). For these I printed with white ink which gives the text a little more legibility than if you just do a blind deboss. Then I went over each one with a little water color. I love that they are simple and each one is different.

Did you have any problems with the paper curling or did you prep the paper ahead of time?

  30. i love these SO much.

we did a letterpress bridal shower invitation with watercolor for a splash of color in the flowers. it's such a beautiful contrast with the letterpress impression/crisp type.

  37. These cards (among your other work) are amazing! I'm just starting out fresh from college as a graphic designer, and am so envious that you have a letterpress! I never learned how, and I am enamored with embossing, debossing, etc etc.

    Thanks for the inspiration!
