I have a white peony bush in my yard from a student that was in my room 6 years ago. Everytime it blooms I think of her, whe is a doll! It was one of the nicest "teacher" gifts I have ever received!
Not yet! I'm seeing them all over the blogs, and though ranunculi are my ultimate favorites, these are right up there. I forgot to look for them in the market today, so maybe tomorrow...
I CANT FIND ANY!!!! But I have stopped and asked many times!!!!
However, I planted to sorbets in my backyard and one of them is successfully shooting up some promising looking tentacles. So perhaps someday I'll have them in my own backyard!
I Love Peonies too! So much that I started a Peony Farm in Sequim, Wa. Right now the tree peonies are in bloom. With our weather, the herbaceous peonies are very late. Check out my post for the ones in bloom now. I can't hardly wait till Red Charm and Paula Fay opens. They are simply fabulous! If allowed, check out www.ilovepeonies.com for a great selection of peonies.
