Paul's Birthday

For Paul's birthday I put together a little surprise for him (thanks to Aubs for the ideas). First, I posted pictures of him as a little kid with a party hat on the streets all around his work (just to embarrass him a little bit.) Then I got some red yarn and made a trail that went from the front door of his work and led to a picnic at a nearby park. After I set it up I called him at lunch time and told him to go outside and follow the red line. Simple and sweet.

  3. That is super awesome. It's lucky you didn't get in trouble with the popo for running red string across the street, tho! (Pretty sure that would be illegal.) But who cares. Lovely idea and so fun to see those balloons from afar!

  8. Darling idea...love that you took the time to do this despite the fact that you are recovering from having a baby! Very inspiring. It's a great reminder to not let those little, important moments pass without recognition.

My sister told me about your blog. I knew you back when you were in YW. Your blog is so neat. I have enjoyed reading through it. You are amazing. I will definitely be a follower - my husband loves big birthday surprises, etc. and I can never think of anything great. Anyways! So fun to see what you are up to - and your baby is beautiful. - Liz
