I am completely inspired by these two projects. First Jenny over at Little Green Notebook has been posting tutorials on how she put together her little girls' room...on a budget! It is really amazing.
Next, Grace at Design Sponge has a fantastic DIY headboard project where she makes this beautiful headboard from scratch. It makes me want to redecorate everything in my house.
Super cute rooms!
ReplyDeleteA new baby on the way is a perfect time to redecorate ;)

ReplyDeleteyes. i saw that headboard last night on design sponge and kind of flipped out. i really want to make one.
ReplyDeleteI've been following the Green Notebook girls' room now for a few days, enjoying the successive unveils. Bless you for pointing out the headboard from design sponge! I have been hoping to buy something great for my master bed now for years. I knew headboards were possible to make, but love the detailed instructions. This is just what I needed. I'm so excited to get started.

ReplyDeletethat first picture is making me wish i still slept in a twin bed...
ReplyDeleteI love it when parents use grownup elements in their kids' rooms, as in the sophisticated patterned headboards. The contrast between childish objects like the dolls and the baby blue of the nightstand is so pretty.

ReplyDeleteI love the table between the beds. The colors are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove them! II made my own, it is not difficult at all, and you create a one of a kind piece.
