I did the "styling" and photography if that's what you call throwing the jar of straws on the couch cushion next to the only window in my house that gets ok light".
I don't usually do photo creds if I did it myself or if I post a link directly to where I got the photo.
Jordan, I just heard that Jack + Lulu are going to start selling beautiful paper straws. They had them at the NAtional Stationary show, but they aren't available on their site yet. You can see them here: http://www.thehaystackneedleonline.com/2009/05/jack-lulu-stripe-straws.html
I've also been awaiting the straws to become available in the Jack & Lulu site. I don't know if I can wait any longer! Such a nice surprise to see these here. Off to go buy a few, thank you!
great job finding an online source for the stripey straws (and what a deal — 50 for $3!) I posted yesterday about how you're always an incredible source of inspiration, Jordan. Have a great weekend!
Thanks for the link on the paper straws, been looking for a while. To your young questioning readership, yes, they work on liquids. Once upon a time you could only get paper straws. And I am not even 40, yet I can still play the old timer. Ah internets... Every burger and shake joint that was not a chain on the jersey shore had paper straws when I was a wee one.
Thanks for sharing this! I've always been a sucker for drinking with a straw (no pun intended!) and frequently feel bad using so much wasteful plastic. Paper straws will definitely make a big difference!
Who did the styling and photos? I couldn't find the credits for any of the photos.
ReplyDeleteI love the model's yellow striped dress! Where is it from?

If you are talking about the soda photos Paul took them including the photos of the models. I styled those.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is owned by the model, my friend Brooke. And it is sooooo pretty. She got it from BCBG 5 or so years ago.

ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I'm thinking of homemade pixie sticks now. Wonder what else they can be used for. And if they hold up with beverages?
