Here is another little idea I did for Project Wedding. I was just trying to show how cheap and easily you can brand a wedding. The designs on the bags were just printed directly on the bags with my desktop printer (put it through the envelope feed). Everything else was just printed on label paper. Go here for more pictures and directions.
OMG!!! i seriously want to marry my husband again just so i can do this! i LOOOOOOVE it!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazingly adorable idea! I love it. :)
ReplyDeletePray tell what printer you have, because adorable things such as this never turn out so lovely on my printer at home. The always end up with gross black ink smudges, or get caught in the feeder and become all crumpled. I think I need to invest in a printer that you can brand a wedding with.
ReplyDeleteYou can also put tracing paper through your printer and use it to wrap things up. It's so fun to have special tissue paper for gifts, sandwiches and such.
ReplyDeleteThat is fantastic! I had no idea you could print directly onto bags! This opens up a whole world of possibilities! Beautiful, as always!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the image for the design on the bags?
ReplyDeleteI feel like I need to come up with an excuse to throw a party ... just so I can put your awesome ideas to use.
ReplyDeleteThe whole set looks fabulous! Thanks for the tip about putting the bags through the printer. I'll have to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fantastic. I'm inspired

ReplyDeleteI was just reading your post thinking "gosh, getting those little glassine bags printed would totally be so expenisve"...then I read you printed them on your home printer on envelope setting...!!! YOU ARE A GENIUS! Of course. From the photos, they look like they were custom printed for you. Beautiful job and thank you so much for your lovely blog! I am adding you to my favs! :)

ReplyDeletep.s. on Thursday night for Enrichment I'm serving each person an individual picnic dinner in white gable boxes. If only they were to be as cute as these :)
Fantastic and amaaazing idea. You always seem to outdo yourself every single time :)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I've got a pair of pearl earrings to give away on my blog. Come check them out :)
I love the concept behind this Jordan — so sweet to see an affordable way to do some fancy labels and packaging! any thoughts on favorite printers? I'm in the market for a new printer/scanner. My free HP printer that came with my Macbook a few years ago isn't cutting it.
ReplyDeleteWow, nice work!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I love the consistency with the color, but the mix-matched patterns and designs. The branding makes the food look even better. Love it!
ReplyDeleteVery charming!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to have to try this out just for a super stylish picnic sometime, thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat type of printer do you use for these projects? - Sue
