Well my big surprise I promised last week got delayed a bit. Just wait though--it's a coming! We were walking around and saw more peonies this week at the flower shops so I snapped a few more photos. Aren't they incredible?
Have any fun weekend plans? Unfortunately most of mine involve work instead of play but I'm hoping to get out to explore a bit. Thanks for stopping by.
I also write for Babble.com Here are my posts this week!
Did you see who Target has teamed up with now?
Have any fun parties to go to this summer? See what Talbot's has! (I know I still can't believe I want to buy from Talbots either.)
Has anyone tried these for picky eaters?
These are ridiculously clever, I want everything from Stel's.

ReplyDeleteLove that green dress from Talbots!
ReplyDeleteIf you adore flowers as I do, and it looks like you do, come take a look at my ridiculous amounts of pics I took at the Getty: http://babicmama.blogspot.com/2011/05/gardens-of-getty.html
Love that place!
Your Talbot's comment made me laugh! For the longest time my mother, who does not really like shopping, would only take me to Talbot's even though I was twenty-fifty years too young to shop there at the time.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am wondering why none of the florists in my neighborhood (8th) are piling the peonies like they are in yours :-(
Bon WE!
oh my goodness! can't wait to see these in person!
ReplyDeleteI'm helping with a wedding next month and need like, *all* of those light pink peonies...
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, they are much harder (and more expensive) to come by in South Dakota!

Oh wow...SO beautiful!! I just want a huge bunch!!
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother used to have a garden of peonies ten feet by two feet of fuscia, pale pink, pink and white peonies - they were a beautiful sight and now a fond memory. Her poppies, bleeding hearts, irises are blooming right now in my garden. Peonies will be later in the season. Gorgeous photos! Jennifer jennsthreegraces

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, so lovely!
ReplyDeleteI bought a skirt from Talbots recently and I love it. I felt like an old lady going into the store to buy it but all the old ladies where charmed by my kids (a first) and it is my favorite new buy (not that I get a lot of new things). It is so well made and will last a lifetime. And best of all, no worries that it will cover the granny panties! I hope they make a few more gems in the upcoming years....
ReplyDeleteOMG! My husband and I will be in Paris next week! I cannot wait to see all these flowers :-)
ReplyDeletei'm with Jodi! i wish i had access to all those little lovelies!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! I splurged on peonies this weekend too, just can't get enough of them while they are around. But the stand at the farmers market here is nothing compared to what you have. I wish they would stack them this way, so beautiful.
