Pain et Chocolat

My friend Sharon is in town from New York so we went to a beautiful cafe here in the 7th called Pain et Chocolat this morning for breakfast. Lindsey from Lost in Cheeseland took me here a few weeks ago and I loved it so much I couldn't wait to go back. It is half a block from Rue Cler. The owners are adorable, the food is impeccable and the presentation is gorgeous. I highly recommend this place for brunch.

  12. Oh my, that place looks diviiine! When I was in Paris a few years ago, pain au chocolat was my FAVORITE breakfast item. I was rather surprised at how pricey it could be to have a nice cup of coffee and pastry in Paris though!

How are you doing with learning the language? We're getting a tutor to help us figure it out!

Did you go to l'Auberge Bressane" ? It is just beside Pain & Chocolat, and you eat very very well...
