Happy weekend everyone. It got cold here in Paris the last few days but its supposed to warm up again by Sunday. This weekend I'm going to try to make our apartment feel settled. It still feels empty and bare (not in a good way.) We needed more seating in our living room so I ordered this settee (isn't it cute?) I figure I can sell it when we move and the difference lost won't be too bad--We had budgeted a little for some furniture before we came but it is still hard to spend money on something you know you'll only have for about a year.
On Saturday I'm going to Anne's 30th birthday party, I can't wait. I hope you have a good weekend. Anything fun planned? (ps:Babble links below.)

I also write for Babble.com. Here are my post for this week.
I'm still in love with these.
Um, these are rad.
This is hilarious. Bacon may be given to babies starting about their tenth month.
I had some of these when I was a kid and I thought I was so cool. Perfect for April First!
Brilliant Mother's day gift.
I think I need that book. Badly! It sounds like a real hoot. Thanks for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteThat settee is darling. See. Anything like it available in the states?
ReplyDeleteParis must be wonderful this time of year.
ReplyDeleteparis is amazing this time of year indeed, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI totally understand your hesitation to buy when you'll only be there a year. We are having the same reservations and feelings because we're in the same spot too.
ReplyDeleteTry not to think of it as a waste because it's only a year, but rather as how it will enrich your life during the next year. I found that to help.
The settee is very stylish, but is it comfortable? I doesnt look it....I hope you had a chance to try it out before you bought it. I'm loving your Parisian posts..My daughter was there last week. This year will fly by.
ReplyDeleteIncredible photo! I love the soft light, the angle, the colors, the mood. Love it! Paris was gray today but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that sunshine they promised us this week!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI adore your blog! I've been following for a while now. I have a question about a French store and thought with your recent change of address you might have a helpful suggestion.
Fifi Lapin just released a really cute line with Pimkie. I tried to purchase a few items but it is only available in Eu.
My question is, since your move have you found a website or service that will allow you to purchase items in the US and have them shipped to France of vice versa?
I'm out of ideas but determined!
Thank you and best of luck with your new adventures!
Kelly
