The Commission Project [Closed]

I always hear people say they want a painting but it is out of their price range. So Paul and I discussed different ideas and we came up with The Commission Project. For a flat price of $200 you can commission your own custom portrait. There are only 100 paintings available at this discounted rate (they are normally $350.) Just purchase a painting right here and then email your photo to us--then wait by your mailbox for your finished painting. They will be shipped no later than December 1st.

So if you need a portrait of your dog or baby or lover...or a painting of your childhood home, your family car, or your wedding shoes, now is your chance. Click here for more details, photo submission requirements, more sample paintings and to purchase.

These make great little presents, just in time for the holidays!

[Post Edit 10/20/2010: Thanks for the support! all 100 Commissions have been sold.]

[Post Edit 10/21/2010: We are extending the Commission Project with a small batch of Round 2 but the paintings will not be shipped until December 17th.]

[10/22/2010: We've now sold out of round 2. Thanks everyone.]

  3. Considering the time it takes to paint something and that it's completely custom, this is a steal. Love this idea!
