S'mores Kits

I love the idea of having s'mores at a wedding. So I created this concept for Project Wedding. (The idea works great for a party too.) The bride and groom make their exit then everyone stands around mingling and roasting marshmallows. If you don't have a venue with firepits you could just use little camp stoves lined up on a table. Check out the rest at Project Wedding.

  3. Lovely idea for a wedding. Are the instructions necessary -I thought all Americans were experts on making s'mores, no? It would be really great if you had a bunch of friends from overseas coming to a wedding as I think many of us (me included) would need the instructions so we didn't mess up.

  8. This is genius. To heck with gifts - I may need to keep a stash of these at my desk - no one would notice an open flame, right?

  18. (I just found your site through Girlsgonechild).

What a unique and cute way to end a wedding. I love it! =D Funny too, because I've been thinking about s'mores. I haven't had one in FOREVER (seriously)!

P.S. I saw your entry on transforming your walk-in-closet into your son's room and thought that was so awesome. Who would have thought of that...? Apparently YOU! Hehe. ;o)

I've never made smores before and I was curious- will the wire hangers get really hot on an open flame and burn your hand (since heat travels through metal? Or do the marshmallows get warm and soft so quickly that this isn't a problem?

Thanks so much! I really look forward to trying this!
