Oh yes. Red is my absolute favorite. My grandmother has an antique credenza that's Japanese and red lacquered and I've loved it since I was little. Unfortunately my aunt has made it very known that she wants it, as well...

oh, when I saw this a couple weeks ago on her blog I started painting! My dining room table is now bright green and I LOVE it--had to throw a Halloween party to break it in!
gorgeous! red brightens up any room...or outfit for that matter.
