Pretty Little Things Club

I'm very excited to announce a little project I've been working on called the Pretty Little Things Club. Here is how it works. First you buy a subscription to the PLT Club right here. Then every month I will send you a pretty little thing--just for you. What kind of items you ask? I'm not telling...it is a surprise. But I promise they will be VERY COOL {and also very pretty and little.} 6 month and 12 month subscriptions are available for ($42) and ($74).

UPDATE: Thank you for the overwhelming response! I've posted some more subscriptions but we are limiting the total club membership to 100. So get 'em while they're hot. Too answer questions: Yes! we ship internationally. We aren't sure if we will offer more again in six months or not.

This sounds neat...but I think you might have to give us a little more description before we send you 42 bucks.

Based on your taste and talent, I trust you! If my husband will agree to the cost, I'll be signing up!

yeah, that's not much to go on.

what a fabulous idea!
it's so fun to get little surprises in the mail.

Laura said...

also...to all you debbie-downers, that $42 gives you 6 amazing surprises & includes shipping. i think it's a great deal.

I think it is a great idea. Congrats on your new venture!

sign me up! I have total faith in how cute and pretty the things will be!

I agree with the NON-naysayers... isn't part of the appeal that you don't really know too many of the details of what you'll be getting? It's a super-secret club that you're buying a membership to.

And if you've read more than 3 of Jordan's posts, you should have a pretty good expectation of what you'll be receiving (i.e. the prettiest of pretty things ;)

I ordered a subscription and am going to split it with my twin sister.. every other month she will get what comes in the mail.. exciting and fun.. have been a fan of your blog for a while..

You are my fave... said...

Ohhh, so exciting. I know it's guaranteed to be good if it's from you.

Great idea! Maybe my husband will get it for my birthday next week!

If we sign up for six months now and then want to continue, will there be an opportunity to renew for another six months?

I think its a great idea. Wish I thought of it. Will the shipping be to Hawaii too? Most people omit Hawaii and Alaska when they say shipping is included. Thanks

Molly said...

How intriguing! I just might have to sign up... and the element of suprise makes it even more exciting!

Carolyn said...

This would be a great christmas gift for the ladies in my family!

how much would it cost for a portuguese follower ^^?

Molly W. said...

You'll send things to Ireland right? :)

What, did this turn into Decorno's comment area? Snipey? Insulting? Agree w/ Laura...you Debbie Downers can go post some nasties on Decorno's site. This is HAPPY, re: Oh Happy Day.

Whoa, who is being snarky?

Asking for more information or having a different opinion doesn't make someone negative or mean.

Anonymous said...

Oh, I would like this. I'm printing it and leaving it out for my husband....good Christmas gift.

i'm all signed up. i'm so excited i have something other than domino to look forward to in the mail!

i love this very cute idea! you have SUCH amazing taste.

I totally trust you. Seriously people - are you paying attention?

This is such a great idea. You are pure genious.

jax said...

Are you sold out of subscriptions already? I'd love to get one, but didn't see any on your etsy page. Please let me know if I'm just missing something!

Katheryn said...

Yes, I'd also love to get one... am I too late?

Vanessa said...

aw, no! sold out??

I'm so excited for this! I love getting mail, and this is sure to be awesome. YAY!

I agree with the last anonymous poster. I don't see how anyone else was negative, "debbie downers", or "naysayers". They were just merely trying to get more information about this club. Some people simply would like to have a little more info before making a commitment.

tempting, tempting!

I love this idea. And if my math is right $42 dollars divided by 6 is only $7 a surprise (which is pretty reasonable). *SURPRISE* being the key word. I don't want to step on anyone's toes either but I think the thing that makes this idea so keen is the *surprise* element. Giving anything else away ruins a little bit of that. I say it's perfect the way it is!!!! Really represents the 'Oh Happy Day' spirit! I'm guessing that the amount of subscriptions you are selling outnumbers the few 'anonymous' objectors:)

I love this idea.

Seth said...

These poor anonymous folk! I do agree that more information is nice, and I don't think every comment on oh happy day's blog needs to be happy, I'd think it would be appreciated to know when readers are confused or have their own opinions, happiness isn't just agreeing with Jordan.

Melissa Jade said...

Really. I must back the anonymous on this. Wanting to know more about a 42$ subscription is nothing like: "stupid idea," "what a rip off" or countless other genuinely negative comments that could have been had.

Good luck with more subscriptions!

Design Mom said...

Brilliant idea! Can't wait to sign up.

Is there anything better than receiving a somewhat-mysterious-package in the mail? Expected, because you signed up for the club, but unexpected because you don't know what's in the package.

Love it!

cindy : quaint said...

count me in! it will be a like a birthday present every month for ourselves.

ashlynn said...

Great idea Jordan - love all the anonymous comments as I am sure you do as well.

Can I sign up later because I don't have room in my budget for another month. :) Lots of things going on sorry sister.

Jeppson Clan said...

Just signed up for the one year subscription. I am so excited! I love checking your blog for pretty things!
Thanks!

Molly W. said...

Aghh! Sold out! I was one of the ones asking if you shipped internationally and there were still some when I asked and now they are gone, SO bummed!!

Cindi said...

Hope you will open up more subscriptions soon. Love this idea.

alex said...

ah! this was going to be the perfect birthday gift for my mom & they sold out in one day. guess i'm too slow - everyone else thought it was a great idea, too. what a compliment to your taste!

brook said...

Since membership is a choice between 12 months and 6 months, can I purchase the other 6 months of someone else's 6 months? Member one has the first 6 months and I have the second half of the 12 month period. A thought to ponder...

Lizzy @ The Tip Spot said...

a big vote for more openings! this is a great gift to give and perfect for me to give my sister. fingers crossed!

Jenn said...

I'm definitely intrigued. Hope more subscriptions will be added soon. And 7 bucks for a pretty little thing isn't bad. Isn't bad at all.

Stephanie said...

What an ingenious idea! Very, very clever. You're the perfect person for such an endeavor. If only I'd arrived in time. Please keep us posted if you add additional subscriptions! Thanks~

k8 said...

bummer, my fault for not checking in daily!

christyhulsey said...

i am so bummed. i talked it over with the hubbers and got him to agree that my life would be so great with plt surprise once a month. i came back to make my subscription and it's full. Rats!mama said there'd be days like this. Congratulations on a super popular, creative idea. i love it. i hope it is wonderful for you and for all of the lucky subscribers. i will be sure to tell santa this year that all i want for christmas is a subscription to next years pretty little things club. oh happy day you are so great!

I'm so sad that I missed out on this! I was on vacation last week and didn't have access to the internet. My fingers are crossed that you'll end up with a few extra spaces available and that I'll be able to snag one of them.
