I really want to do this for my own wedding. Where did you find all of the cake plates? I've looked around and these are pricey on ebay, etc.
leslie: there is no secret. You just have to pony up the cash :). I have a small fortune's worth of cakeplates.
I still copy your cake platters from the wedding. It's forever etched in my memory because it was that awesome!
I have a collection of cake plates too...but I'm coveting yours! What a great idea for your wedding...LOVE IT! I coordinate weddings on the side and this is definitely going in my "wedding - GOOD" folder.
