Cookie Jars

I made these fat little pots of cookies to give as gifts yesterday. I used the cheap mini glass jars from IKEA and then designed some custom labels. After the cookies are gone the labels can be removed and the jar can be used for storage. I would love to do a shower invitation with these. {I was inspired by this picture.}

To make the label I designed it in Adobe Illustrator and then printed it on full-sheet label paper then cut each label out with an exact-o knife.

These would make great visiting teaching treats. Where did you get that chocolate table cloth?

I came across your blog today and immediately ran to IKEA for the jars. The size of the jars is perfect and I am now going to start creating the labels tonight. I will make cookies tomorrow and then figure out who the heck to give the gifts to. Although I have no one in mind at the moment I couldn't pass up the chance to make these adorable gifts. Thanks for sharing.

A while back i managed to find a british labels company who printed me some custom labels for a really low price. If anyone is at all interested it may be worth taking a look at their website.
